MCA Solutions tackles the ‘service supply chain’ – managing the complex business of supporting thousands of items, and turning service centers into profit centers.
Challenge
MCA Solutions had a strong reputation for academic excellence among a handful of industry influencers. Our challenge was to build market demand for the service supply chain – and tap the immense revenue opportunity for effectively supporting products after they’re sold.
Strategy
We immediately shifted the message to focus on the business impact of MCA’s solutions and customer’s pain points. We also changed the spokesperson from the founder, a respected professor, to the CEO, a seasoned enterprise IT executive.
The first 3-month campaign placed MCA in front of every major analyst and reporter covering the service parts planning space, resulting in dozens of positive, on-message articles and several favorable analyst reports.
To assume the mantle of momentum and innovation, we issued 2-3 releases monthly, often taking on larger competitors’ vulnerabilities.
Results
12 months after the launch, the service supply chain became a CEO issue and MCA Solutions is recognized as the clear leader this growing market. All of the leading analyst firms endorse its approach.
Today, MCA is included in every service parts planning story, with lead roles and cover stories are an ongoing event. Unique Web site visits are at an all-time high, three times what they were one year ago, and we’re continuously hearing about the value of PR – increasing visibility of MCA, driving significant interest with major market players, and easing the sales process.
