Ink Bloggers
Amy Bermar
Twitter: @amybermar
Amy Bermar founded Corporate Ink determined to create the kind of PR firm reporters wanted to work with. She spent her first 10 years writing for dailies – in Boston, Alaska, Asia and Europe – and knew that good PR makes for great stories
20 years later – she’s built one of the tech industry’s top boutique firms. Winning the Wall Street Journal’s award for Top Small Workplaces sums up what revs her up each day: creating new markets for clients, and in the process, a great place to work.
Corinne Federici
Twitter: @CorinneFederici
Trained in a hard-nosed newsroom, Corinne’s passion for telling great stories continues at Corporate Ink, where she’s been doing PR for over a decade. She leads CI’s information security practice, while dabbling in the aftermarket and healthcare IT.
A native New Yorker, Corinne proudly supports the Yankees, even while living in enemy territory. She’s always up for a challenge – be it sky diving over the Swiss Alps, running a marathon, or launching an insanely ambitious new technology company.
Megan Boyaval
Twitter: @MBoyaval
Megan is our champion – of customers, of amazing stories, of how to do it right. She brings a thoughtful, creative approach to campaigns, and knows how to sell tough concepts to a broad audience. She also understands the power of customer advocacy.
She runs our Rhode Island office (of one). In this littlest state in the union (where life moves a little slower), Megan’s five-year old reminds her to stop once in a while and smell the flowers.
Dan Brennan
Twitter: @TechAddict17
Dan’s our man for security and supply chain – coming to us after two years at Gartner where he worked with its enterprise clients, and a stint at Fox News. He’s a PR pro – and part of our video team.
This New Hampshire native is a big-time Boston sports fan, and skis whenever he can. If you’re wondering about the newest gadgets – ask Dan. He’s probably seen it, tested it, or already has it.
Dan Carlson
Twitter: @Dancarlson317
Dan joined Corporate Ink fresh out of college with a degree in journalism and an enthusiasm for PR. He got his first taste of the field through internships at MFS Investment Management and Forrester Research – courtesy of Northeastern University’s co-op program.
This Massachusetts native and Boston sports nut likes to stay busy, but is just as happy rockin’ the six-string or just wandering the city streets.
Joanna Clark
Twitter: @JoannaClark5
After finishing up college with a psychology degree in hand, Joanna veered off course for her post graduate degree and began studying the buzzing world of professional communications and PR. Her first steps into the field came in the form of a social media marketing position where she got a taste of the biz and was hooked.
When she isn’t in the office, this southern Mainer enjoys getting outside and breathing in that (almost as fresh) Massachusetts air. If she isn’t honing her soccer skills or riding her bike you can probably find her scouring YouTube for a new song tutorial to master on her ukulele.
Jackie D’Andrea
Twitter: @jackiedandrea12
Jackie brings with her more than four years of PR experience. She’s pitched everything from network security systems to baking classes, and is always up for the challenge of selling the next big story. With an eye for detail, the technology space is the perfect fit for Jackie.
Outside of the office, you can find Jackie out running, cheering for Boston’s sports teams, or cuddled up with a good book.
Greg Hakim
Twitter: @DreamHakim
Greg brings a passion for securing media placements and delivering results, and especially loves the challenge of pitching a difficult story and helping clients enter and survive in the social media space.
This Jersey boy and University of Delaware grad withstands the local sports heat, and remains loyal to all his favorite NYC sports teams. Sports are one of Greg’s favorite pastimes – he actually got his start in PR working for the Philadelphia 76ers public relations department. His favorite new hobby: SCUBA diving.
Robert Klucevsek
Twitter: @RobertKlucevsek
Robert started his Northeastern University co-op program in PR at the Massachusetts Governor’s Press Office. He ended it with a graphic design firm in India. His journalism degree might be a bit misleading, but he’s passionate in what he’s done with it.
Although he’s lived in the states of Florida and Maharashtra (see first paragraph), Robert calls Massachusetts home. Around Boston, you might catch him biking, trying new restaurants, catching the latest flick or filming his own.
Courtney Porcella
Twitter: @cporcella
While studying Marketing and Public Relations at Suffolk University, Courtney developed a taste for the B2B technology market, interning with some of Boston’s cutting edge B2B high tech startups. In addition to her work with the traditional PR foundations, Courtney has been leveraging social media for businesses for years, and brings deep expertise on how to use them the right way and get her clients in front of the right audience.
Outside of work (when she manages to put her BlackBerry down) she enjoys whipping up recipes that would make her former North End neighbors proud.
George Robertson
Twitter: @newssource
Going on his sixth year at CI, George is a media pro – driving killer placements every week in the pubs our clients care most about. He’s the insider’s insider when it comes to security and health care.
He’s our resident outdoorsman, and is one of our reigning BBQ chefs.
